“Please join us in celebrating the close of Chamber Music Rochester’s 50th anniversary season with a program overflowing with warmth, virtuosity, and the rich sonorities of two violas, from the elegance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s radiant Horn Quintet, performed on natural horn, to the expansive drama of Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quintet, Op. 29. The concert also features the world premiere of Zachary Wadsworth’s expressive Oboe Sonata, commissioned by Alan Curle and Andrew London, and performed by Erik Behr and pianist Chiao-Wen Cheng.”
